Cost of Attendance

Student Cost of Attendance:

An average cost of attendance for a student attending Universal Training Institute consist of tuition, books and laboratory supplies. These components of the cost of attendance are estimates and vary from student to student depending their personal circumstances, for example, independent vs.  dependent status.

 

Definition of Financial Need

Financial need is defined as the difference between the cost of attending school and the student’s or families expected contribution (EFC). A central processor to whom the student’s Free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is submitted conducts determination of the EFC, based on federal guidelines.  The School’s Financial Aid Officer then determines the student’s Cost of Attendance using nationally-approved living expense guidelines.  The federal need formula can be stated as follows:
